Our sheep are free to graze on our native dryland grasses and brought in to safe paddocks at night. During the winter months, we leave them on pasture as weather permits and feed them a high quality dryland hay. Our meat only comes from our ranch, not a feedlot environment.
We do not jug our pregnant ewes, but allow them to have their lambs where and when they please. Some choosing to have them off by themselves in the darkness of early morning...while others would rather have them in broad daylight in the middle of everything!
We feel that the environment we provide for our sheep is a stress-free way of life. Hopefully this is reflected in the quality of our lambs, fleece and meat.
